Diwali Rangoli Designs – Traditional Way of Decoration

We are lucky being in country like India. Our nation is full wit fasts and festivals, fast is the symbolism of devotion towards god and festival represent happiness. Often there many festivals in our culture but few are major. Some great festivals like Diwali, Holi, Janmashtmi, Nagpanchmi, Rakshabandhan, Basant Panchmi and Baishakhi etc. are celebrated widely.

But in all the festival personally I give preference to Diwali. Actually Diwali is the festival of light and light represent knowledge because world is nothing without knowledge. Knowledge is everything. So the festival Diwali leads us go towards knowledge leaving darkness.

On the occasion of Diwali we all specially clean our homes, offices and decorate it in variety of ways. There are many ways to decorate homes and offices but rangoli is special art in Diwali.  We decorate our homes with special Diwali rangoli designs. Rangoli is the traditional art and symbol of our culture. Rangoli are made in all happy occasions to make places more attractive.
